This feature allows you to send a call to the “parking lot” where they will listen to music on hold. You can then pick up the call from any other phone.
- Press Park (you may have more than one Park button). This sends the call to the parking space.
- The Park button will turn red, indicating that a caller is waiting there.
- You may now hang up your phone to call another extension or answer another call.
- Press the Park button from any phone to be connected to the caller.
This feature is useful if a caller asks for someone and you do not know where in the building they are. You can send the caller to Park, and use paging, a radio, or yell over your shoulder for the person to pick up on “Park1”.
