TAP Tech is extending Remote Access to all qualifying clients during the Corona virus spread. We will offer best-effort support free of charge for a limited time. Please send any support requests to support@taptechit.com and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Accessing your computer for the first time
- You will receive an email with your username and password
- Visit https://rmm.taptechit.com and log in
- Set up your 2-Factor Authentication App. We suggest Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or Authy. You can find these in the App or Play Store on your mobile device.
- Click the Green icon below “Remote Control”
- Click the “Take Control Viewer” link to download the software
- Click or double click the downloaded program and allow it to install
- Once the software has installed, click the green “LAUNCH TAKE CONTROL” button
- On some browsers you may need to click the button that pops up to run it
- Your work computer should appear in the window!
- When you’re done, close the program.
- Please do not Shut down your work computer as it will be inaccessible if you do so!
Accessing your computer after you’ve installed the software for the first time
- The process is the same as above, except you can skip Steps 4 and 5.

Remote Printing

- Click on Remote Desktop -> Interactions -> Enable Remote Printing
- Print your document using the “Solarwinds Remote Printer” that appears
- When the new Print dialogue appears, select your local (home) printer and the document will be printed.
