Share a file with OneDrive

OneDrive can be used to share files for many scenarios: they’re too large to be emailed, when you’re in a video conference and want everyone to have access, etc.

Steps:

  1. Make sure the file is an OneDrive location. You’ll see a small icon at the bottom left of the file.
  2. Make sure the file has completed uploading. Once it is done, there’ll be a green check mark icon.
  3. Right click on the file and then click on “Share” with the OneDrive icon next to it.
  4. Select your share options, and create the share link.
  5. You can send the link via email, post to your meeting, post it in Teams, etc.
